K-State offers consumer and industry research and education in business, marketing, milling, product development and supply chain management. KSU’s Pet Food Program is the first-of-its-kind, with research expertise and facilities to explore solutions for food processing and nutritional challenges of companion animals. This program uses the university’s expertise in nutrition, microbiology, extrusion, thermal processing, canning, baking, sensory analysis & more.

Partnering with industry, we are proud to train the next generation of leaders and collaborate on research and innovation of products across the Grain Science and Industry; the Master of Agribusiness; Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health; and Animal Sciences and Industry departments.
